I am thrilled to share that I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2024 NABA Inc. National Convention in Las Vegas, NV, all thanks to a generous company sponsorship! The convention was a treasure trove of insightful seminars and a lively EXPO, where I connected with professionals who share my passions. One of the standout moments was mastering the "Tell me about yourself" question in just seven words: "Jada is the leader that you need." This simple yet powerful phrase resonated with everyone that I met. I walked in hesitant, but left feeling empowered, BLACK, BOLD, and BEAUTIFUL, with offers from BNY, Prudential, PwC, and Wells Fargo. Ultimately, I chose to take my talents to Deloitte as a 2025 Discovery Tax Intern. Without this convention, I might still be scrambling to find an internship because resumes and their computer screenings can't capture my unique character.
