Description

Reintroduced in 2023, NABA Baruch's Mentorship Program is a two-semester professional development initiative aimed at equipping a select group of ambitious students of color with essential career skills. The program offers invaluable guidance through formal mentorship with distinguished industry professionals across a plethora of career fields (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Consulting).

Workshops for the program are held every Saturday morning, alternating between in-person and virtual meetings. Lastly, participants engage in team-building activities (e.g., social outings) to encourage networking and socialization between mentors and mentees beyond the formal program setting.

‘23 - ‘24 Mentee Testimonial

“I was fortunate enough to be accepted and a part of the NABA Baruch Mentorship Program during my freshman year at Baruch College, which played an instrumental role in my professional and career development. The guidance and support that I received from my junior mentor Henry were invaluable, providing me with the skills and confidence needed to navigate the complexities of the financial services industry. From mastering best practices for networking to tackling technical interviews, the program equipped me with the essential tools to succeed. A few months after the program concluded, I was thrilled to have secured an Investment Banking offer at Bank of America! A testament to the effectiveness of the mentorship and the network that the program helped me build. As I head to Vanderbilt, I am forever indebted to NABA Baruch for their unwavering support and dedication to helping me achieve my goals.”
